Camp mBOT

This class is designed to instroduce beginners to the fundamentals of modular block programming. The mBot Robot has various sensors and servos that will be controlled using Scratch 2.0. The student will design logical code modules to make the robot accomplish a list of tasks. The mBot Robot uses the MakeBlock mCore microcontroller which is based on the Arduino Uno board.

Camp Ranger

This class is designed for students that have a working knowledge of the mBlock IDE. The budding Roboticist will select one of three robots to construct; Land Raider, Nervous Bird, or Dashing Raptor. The class will also introduce the Arduino IDE interface as well as review the differences between mBlock modular coding and C/C++ sequential coding. The Ranger Robot kit uses the MakeBlock Auriga microcontroller which is based on the Arduino ATmega2560 board.

Camp Ultimate

This class is designed for students that want to learn the fundamentals of C/C++ programing on Arduino based microcontrollers. The class uses the Ultimate Robot kit which can be configured into any one of ten highly functional robots. Students must be very fluent with the mBlock modular coding language. This class will introduce the budding Roboticist to the language and complexity that they would experience as a team member on any of the National or Global Robtics teams such as VEX and FIRST.
